Where to find Bell Bearings in Elden Ring

As you level up and get stronger in Elden Ring, there are going to be other tasks you need to get done. As you explore the many bosses and other challenges you will encounter will be a big ask for new players. And as things get crazier and more confusing, you’re sure to have questions. Enter these guides that get your head on straight while you try to learn the game. This particular guide will help you out when it comes to learning about pouch items in Elden Ring.

There are a ton of these items found around the game’s world. Your pouch items are quickly accessible items that you can use while exploring, without opening the menu. These are the same as a quickbar shortcut in any other game. Having easy access to healing items and other utility stuff during combat can be pretty helpful. You can set your own custom shortcuts within this feature to make it work for you. Some players might like to have the mount summon placed on one of these buttons, for ease of use.

How to use pouch items in Elden Ring

Looking at the UI, you will see the four item buttons in the bottom-left of the UI. The top four slots can be activated as shortcuts. The two at the bottom must be accessed via the Pouch section of the pause menu. You can change the items seen here pretty simply. From the Start menu, navigate to the right-hand side labeled “Pouch”, located above the Gestures menu. You can set healing items, soul redemptions and other items here. Also, keep in mind that the game doesn’t actually pause in the Start menu. You will still be able to take damage or get hit with status effects during this time.

To actually use the items in the pouch, you must press a specific combination. While you’re standing, you need to click and hold the Y button on your Xbox controller or the triangle button on your PlayStation controller. Once you have that button held down, press the directional button on the D-pad corresponding with the item you wish to use.
