EVE Online Invasion Patch Notes released

EVE Online Invasion Trailer

The next expansion for EVE Online is coming, next week in fact, so CCP have finally released the patch notes for the next major update to their flagship MMO.

As usual with these big fixes, CCP has bundled in a ton of bug fixes for just about every aspect of the game. Graphical mistakes, translation errors, UI quirks and more have all been smoothed out with this release.  The new Pointer Tool is also coming.

And in addition to the mountain of bug fixes and new Triglavian Collective ships and content, CCP is also bringing in a much-needed performance improvement. After years of waiting, the 64-bit client for EVE Online is finally coming to public beta, offering more potential memory usage, thus better performance on modern PCs. Players have wanted this for a while, and they’re very happy to see this. Perhaps it means CCP has big plans for the major fleet fights they love promoting in EVE.

In terms of gameplay changes, the new war systems are in. The next stage of the War Declarations revamp has been released, including the introduction of War Headquarters structures, War cost simplification, improved mutual wars, and war UI improvements. There’s also a bunch of balance changes for ships, modules and the manufacture of these items that have been packed in as well.

There’s so much more to these patch notes than could ever be easily summarized, check them out down below for the full details.
