Euro Truck Simulator 2, the trucking and shipping simulator from SCS Software, is expanding into a new area with their latest DLC, due out tomorrow. The DLC is titled Beyond the Baltic Sea and adds in new content for fans of the highly-serious truck simulator.
Beyond the Baltic Sea also brings over “30 new local company docks and industries”, complete with new achievements and challenges for each of these new locales. The focus in this expansion is all about Russian and Baltic Sea locations, coming to bear with more than 13,000 KM of roads and new locations. The newest DLC for the game includes nearly two dozen new major cities to deliver your commodities to and from. In terms of the actual locations and countries, there will be parts of Western Russia, lower Finland, as well as Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia within the game world with this update.
The expansion isn’t just about new locations and other goodies either, Beyond the Baltic Sea will also add all-new AI vehicles such as trains, trams, and cars to the game world. Although we shouldn’t need dashcams in this digital Russia though. Although it would be kind of cool for a little bit to have to deal with insurance scams, although that would very quickly wear thin.
Fans of this series really love trucking, and with tons of new content, this expansion brings in more of exactly what people enjoy about shipping digital potatoes across Europe. If you’re an avid Euro Truck fan such as myself, this pack sounds like a great pickup for you.
This newest DLC pack will release onto Steam on November 29, 2018, and will cost $17.99 / €17.99 / £13.49 at launch. Check out the trailer from SCS Software down below.
