The Dawning is back in Destiny 2, which means it is time to bury every NPC in the game under a candy mountain. And you don’t have a magical unicorn to help you out. The Dawning 2021 recipes are very similar to previous runs of the event. Each of the Dawning 2021 recipes must be taken to the correct NPC to complete the quest. The process involves taking down a specific enemy type, or taking them out with a certain weapon. Ether Cane in Destiny 2 is a pretty easy one to get. Fallen enemies are the source this time. You need to head to a certain set of missions to farm them reliably. They spawn all over the place, but the key is efficiency. The EDZ is a good spot with plenty of random spawns and public events to blast through. For this one, just focus on getting Fallen kills to get plenty of Ether Cane. It might be worth doing a few event runs to get weapon-based drops, but that’s up to you.
You could check Lost Sectors as well, but be aware that not all EDZ regions have Fallen enemies in them. Ether Cane is used in many recipes this year, so you’re going to need a lot of it, so focus and get it done.
Once you have the Ether Cane, it’s time to get baking. Head back to the Holiday Oven and craft the recipes you’re after with the Dawning 2021 ingredients you were able to get. Take another name off of Eva’s list and move on.
