Enter the Gungeon‘s long-awaited ‘Advanced Gungeons & Draguns’ expansion releases on July 19. Developer Dodge Roll announced the date on Twitter. The expansion is getting released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One all at once. Fans have been waiting on this since 2017, adn now they can finally get their hands on it, all for the lovely price of free.
For those of you wondering, ‘Advanced Gungeons & Draguns’ adds a litany of new guns, items, and room layouts. Also included in the expansion are tweaks to specific drop rates and — perhaps most importantly — the ability to slide over tables and coffins. This stylish new movement is all about looking cool while navigating the endless danger of the bullet hell gameplay that is Enter the Gungeon.
And even without all the new content from this expansion, Enter The Gungeon is still a massive game with endless replayabilty. With a huge number of room layouts, hundreds of weapons and dozens of bosses, this is the game that will excite even the most jaded player of shooter roguelikes like this and Binding of Isaac. You should give this expansion a shot when it lands if the genre interests you at all.
