Elden Ring PC System Requirements

Elden Ring

Elden Ring has gone gold, and is heading to stores right now. The game is sure to make a huge splash, and we’re eager to see what it holds. FromSoftware’s Dark Souls successor has a huge and open world to explore, and that means a lot of work is going to be done by PC rigs to render the massive game. And the requirements are pretty severe. FromSoftware has officially revealed both the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Elden Ring.

Budget gamers are going to have a lot of trouble running this game. The CPU requirements alone place a lot of need for fairly high-powered or modern components.  The i5-8400 and Ryzen 3 3300X are no slouch, and could run many modern games at 1080p at acceptable framerates, so you’re going to need something at least that heft to run the game. The GPU requirements are much more surprising, as the minimum of a GTX 1060 is a pretty big ask in this GPU-starved market. I know, this really shouldn’t be the case, but it’s the situation we find ourselves in.
