Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on Switch is getting a Travis pawn with No More Heroes crossover

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Getting No More Heroes Crossover

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is out now for the Nintendo Switch, and fans are eagerly awaiting more news about this weird action title. As part of the a post-launch update plan for the game, Suda51 and the rest of the team have revealed some interesting new details about the hack-and-slash title.

The companies behind the game have announced a partnership with Capcom to coincide with the launch of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on Switch.

There will be two aspects to this nice little nod to fans, with a unique aspect appearing in each of the two games. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will get a special branded shirt featuring the second of the two titles, allowing players to deck themselves out in some decidedly dark style. This shirt joins a pretty expansive offering of in-game outfits featuring other gaming properties like The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

The new Switch port of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will also get a unique bit of content, although some content that’s much cooler than a simple branded shirt. This new version of the game will have a katana-weilding Pawn of Travis Touchdown which can be recruited by players to join in combat. The hero will be adorned in more setting-appropriate clothing, so no sweet jacket or sunglasses for this Pawn. The DLC will be a free download for all when the game launches later this month.
