Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a new action game from Bandai Namco that seeks to build heavily upon the groundwork laid by the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games. Following the legendary story of Son Goku, players will brawl their way through all of the major arcs from the source material. Go through all of the anime arcs, getting much more powerful along the way thanks to the more refined and expansive customization system. The story may not be fresh, but the gameplay style sure is. And yes, incredible fusion Vegeto and Majin Vegeta moments will be in the game.

Borrowing from games like Xenoverse 2, the developer wants to push players to find things to do. Adventuring around the hub world in this new game is a lot more fleshed out. Rather than just going between two different quest givers and sitting through a cutscene to play generic missions, the game is being fleshed out with much more detail, and more things to do. There are even mini-games for players to burn time with, like a fishing game. Players will fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and others from throughout the entire anime storyline.
