Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 shows Super Baby Vegeta in new trailer

Dragonball Xenoverse 2 adds Super Baby Vegeta

Bandai Namco recently released a new trailer for upcoming DLC to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, content which adds new characters, levels and strorylines from Dragonball GT.

For those that don’t remember Dragonball GT was the major follow-up to Dragonball Z that ran for 64 episodes between 1996 and 1997 in Japan. The series was somewhat reviled in its time due to changes to core characters, including the introduction of the Baby storyline.

Baby is a parasite-like organism created from the DNA of King Tuffle, another new character, before the extinction of his race. His only goal is to obtain vengeance against the Saiyans. By taking possession of Vegeta’s body, Baby became Super Baby Vegeta, one of the strongest fighters in the universe. Pretty stock in terms of Dragon Ball content it would appear.

The Extra Pack 3 also includes Kefla, the fusion between Caulifla and Kale from Dragon Ball Super along with 5 new Parallel Quests, 8 additional skills, 4 costumes, and 2 Super Souls when it releases in Summer 2018.

Other DLC introduced characters have been introduced from multiple DB properties, and even some new forms for those characters. So players have seen things like Super Saiyan Bardock, Ginyu in Vegeta’s body and a bunch more. DLC characters included the likes of Nail, Lord Slug and Metal Cooler via various character packs.

Bandai Namco recently announced that the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series as a whole has reached 10 million units in worldwide shipments and digital sales. So we can probably expect at least a bit more content for the time-traveling fighting game.

The trailer for this latest DLC pack can be seen down below. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
