Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 getting new content with Extra Pack 4

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 4 Trailer

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is getting even more content with both free and paid updates today. Bandai Namco has revealed the details for Extra Pack 4, the latest paid DLC for the popular fighting game.

Extra Pack 4 will introduce a bunch of new content. There’s the Tournament of Power Arena being put into the fighting game as a stage. The game is also getting new Parallel Quests and some cosmetic items with this latest bit of DLC.

In addition to all the other new content, the brawler is also getting two new fighters, SSGSS Gogeta and Broly Super Saiyan Full Power, each with their own unique fighting styles and moves. Combined with these expanded characters, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also getting 8 new abilities for players to goof around with.

Those new Parallel Quests are all themed around the Dragon Ball Super: Broly films, as well as other iconic fights from the source material. We can see Vegito taking on Gogeta, proving once-and-for-all who the better fusion is.

But it isn’t just a paid bit of DLC being added to the game today, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also getting a free update which will enable a new game mode. That new game mode is called Crystal Raid. This new 5v1 mode allows one player to assume the super-powered role of a villain from the franchise, and take on a string of five opponents in a massive brawl. Demon God Demigra, Fused Zamasu (Half-Corrupted), and Mira (Final Form) will feature as villain choices within the new mode. More than a dozen characters can be chosen as the “boss” player, and each one is maxed out to Lv.99 to give a fair challenge to the five-player team.

In terms of rewards, Crystal Raids are pretty generous. It doesn’t matter if the Boss player wins or loses, all players have a chance to earn various items for competing. So if you want to test your might in a chaotic and tough battle, this is your chance.

If you still haven’t had the chance to pick it up, Extra Pack 3 is still available, adding in Kefla and Super Baby 2.

Check out the new content trailer for the fighting game down below. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched on October 25, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC two days after and came to Nintendo Switch even later on September 22, 2017.
