Folks also dug through the code of a recent Warzone update and uncovered suggestions of a new Zombies mode. It’s unclear if that means there will be a separate mode within the current game, or whether there’s one coming to the new game as well.
The latest leaks for the new game suggest that the game will get a mode called “Zombie Royale,” which could be a combination of multiple modes from previous games. It could be that there will be a fusion of Warzone and Zombies, which seems pretty cool. So far it looks like the Zombies mode, if it does come back, will be a post-launch update.
We also know when the game will be released as well. It would also seem that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on Friday, November 13. The leaks suggest that we could see a bit more soon. It appears as though Activision has a stream setup to reveal more about the game this month, on August 26.
