A new LinkedIn listing for Arkane Studios has revealed that the company behind the Dishonoured games is working on something new. The developer has yet to announce anything though, so things are pretty mysterious, as the game is not really known. As of now, it’s only really been confirmed that it’s a fantasy title of some kind.
Twitter user Timur222, was able to snipe some details, although it’s very hard to figure out what’s coming. Arkane Studios Austin has apparently been working on the game for a bit, according to the LinkedIn Profile of Senior VFX Artist Lisa Charriere. We were also able to find out that the new game runs on Unreal Engine 4. So we can expect a very pretty game, whatever it is.
It also turns out that a few iconic names from other games are on the project. Creative Director of Dishonored 2 at Arkane Lyon, Harvey Smith, said that things are in the works. “I’m not in Deathloop, I’m in something else, working with the guys who made Dishonored and Prey,” he said when asked about the new game.
Smith has worked on various titles including, Dishonored, Deus Ex, and Thief. These games give him a very strong pedigree for various genres and gameplay styles.
