Diablo III Eternal Edition gets new Switch gameplay
So Diablo and ARPG fans got great news earlier this month with the announcement of a new version of Diablo 3. Diablo III: Eternal Collection will bring all the various bloody piles of fun that the game is known for over to the lovely Nintendo handheld, the Switch.
Nintendo and Blizzard are obviously pretty excited about this release, so they’re pimping the game pretty hard during Gamescom 2018 this week. The devs behind the game have released a 20-minute gameplay deep dive that shows off how the game works on the Switch. And judging from this snippet of gameplay, the game runs well and looks quite fun. And since the game has dropped on multiple consoles before, the control scheme should pretty good in terms of usability. And since all the previously released content is there as well, all seven of the classes in Diablo 3 will be unlocked out of the gate.
Diablo III: Eternal Collection includes all of the previously released DLC for the game, as well as some brand new Legend of Zelda-themed bonus items. This new version of the ARPG will be exclusive to the Switch though. So if you already have one, here’s a great pickup for your game library.
