Devil May Cry 5 Announced During Microsoft’s E3 Conference

During Microsoft’s E3 conference at E3 2018, the latest installment of the Devil May Cry series, Devil May Cry 5, was revealed to eager fans. Nero returns from his appearance Devil May Cry 4 and brings more of his over-the-top style back to the franchise.

After the reveal of DMC5, Hideaki Itsuno appeared on stage at Microsoft’s conference and said that he believes Devil May Cry 5 is the best game that he has ever made. It’s also been said that this game will be significant change in terms of gameplay from more recent games in the series.

A new trailer and other coverage revealed some new characters coming to aid our “heroes” in their battle against the underworld. Nico is a new addition to the series, she’ll help Nero over the course of the game by creating new weapons and items for him to use. V is another enigmatic addition who we know even less about, but he’s said to be a client of Devil May Cry.

Check out the trailer for the new game below. Devil May Cry 5 is due for release in spring 2019. Devil May Cry 5 is planned for Xbox One, and possibly more platforms.
