Devil May Cry 3 is an incredibly good game. Dante really turns up the heat in this action-packed sequel. The improved gameplay uses a combination of hordes of monstrous enemies and new mechanics around super-powering Dante himself to create a wonderfully fun game. Dante and Vergil are two of the most beloved characters in the franchise, and fans will be very happy to see these demonic bad boys come back for some more action.
Capcom also announced a Switch bundle for three games in the franchise. Japanese audiences will be getting Devil May Cry Triple Pack. Capcom has not announced the Devil May Cry Triple Pack for the west at this time. It’s also unclear if physical versions of Devil May Cry 2 or Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition will ever be offered. The Devil May Cry Triple Pack contains all three of the first mainline games in the classic franchise. This is expected to launch on February 20, 2020 for 4,990 yen.
Devil May Cry has come to the Switch before, with Devil May Cry HD, also priced at a similar price point to this new port. There are even rumors that characters from the franchise could come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
This Special Edition will sell for $19.99 or £15.99, and it will come with a variety of special additions. The Special Edition includes a special new series of levels where you control Vergil, as you fight your way through the Bloody Palace survival mode with 9,999 levels.
The Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition will touch down on Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020.
