Xur is back again, folks, and he’s got more goodies. Each week in Destiny 2, everyone’s favorite traveling merchant hops around. During that time, Xur has stuff for sale. His inventory is often varied and relevant to the content of that season. Each week, he moves around and has a new stock of weapons and more. Each time, he has one unique Legendary for each Guardian class, and a few different weapons. And because he always has something new, a lot of players scramble to find the Xur location each week.
So where is the Xur location for the week of October 8, 2021? Keep reading and find out where he is, and what he has in stock.
Xur is an Agent of the Nine, and he loves to move around the map. Once a week he moves around to a new location with new stuff to sell for Legendary Shards. He moves after the reset every Friday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
Where is Xur on October 8?
Xur’s location is currently Winding Cove on EDZ. in Destiny 2. For now, the Xur location will remain the same for this upcoming week. Next Friday, he will swap to a new locale. Last week, Xur was over at The Tower.
He will remain there for the next few days, so you have time to grab his new items. And yes, his stock is refreshed this week. Xur will move to a new spawn within either the Titan, Watcher’s Grave, or Io after this period. His previous spawn locations seemed to favor the Tower a lot. So keep that in mind after the next weekly reset.
What is Xur selling?
Each week, Xur sells a handful of items for each Guardian Class. There’s one item for each one, sold for 23 Legendary Shards each. A new weapon will also rotate in, for a certain set price. Each item will often have specific mods and perks attached, so you can’t roll randomly on most of these items. Here’s what he has in stock for this week.
October 8–12: Telesto, Winter’s Guile, The Bombardiers, Mk. 44 Stand Asides

It’s not all good news this week for Destiny fans. Bungie announced yesterday that the Forsaken content would be removed from the game, added to the Content Vault instead. At the very least Bungie revealed that this move is to make room for the newest expansion. Said expansion is due to launch at the same time Forsaken is removed.
