Destiny 2 Stormchaser God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 Stormchaser God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 loves its crazy amount of weapon customization and other options to make powerful guns. Over the years, things have gotten pretty complex. Destiny 2 has added a literal ton of new items and mechanics in its latest expansion. And with the new Season of the Haunted, there’s a bunch of new stuff to find and craft. There are a bunch of powerful new options to mess around with, and players are chasing after them.

Stormchaser is a pretty cool option for pretty much any mode in the game. This gun offers plenty of PvE potential when picked with the right rolls. That’s where this guide comes in, laying out the Destiny 2 Stormchaser God Roll. In PvP, Stormchaser feels pretty good for the mode, although it could be stronger. With the right perk pool choices, it can be prety solid for at-range engagements.

Here are the stats for this powerful new weapon:

How to get Stormchaser in Destiny 2

Stormchaser will only drop from the “Unlock the Vault” and “Nightmare of Caiatl” encounters within the Duality Dungeon. You can’t craft this weapon, so you need to put time into farming it. So just run these sections and complete the dungeon until you get the rolls you want. Use the guide below to figure out what perks are best for each mode.

Stormchaser PvE God Roll

Vorpal Weapon is by far one of the best perks you can get on this weapon for PvE. Liquid Coils will give you a bit more DPS against certain bosses. Auto-Load Holster is the best option for Vorpal, as it keeps your ammo counts flowing and shots firing off. The options are pretty open for the perks, so pick your personal choice here.

Stormchaser PvP God Roll

Hollow Denial has one of the best perk pools in the game, but the God Roll you’ll want for PvP is Hammer-Forged Rifling for a max range boost.  Smallbore can fill in as a stopgap if you can’t get the other. Rangefinder is a great perk that improves all your core stats when zooming in. This is vital in PvP as you want to hit your targets at the longest possible range . Your options for other addons include Adaptive Munitions to boost the damage against energy shields. You could also go Firing Line if you tend to run in packs.
