Each week, Bungie will be adding more over time. We can expect the number to change each week, as well as the difficulty to increase. Here are the Seasonal Challenges in Week 2 of Season of the Chosen. The Hammer of Proving is continuing to be a big focus this week, as are the ongoing battles with the Cabal. You will be expected to take on various PvP and PvE activities this week for the seasonal challenges.
Bungie has brought back a few tasks from Week 1, but things are a fair bit different. You will find that many of the tasks might be the same, but with higher requirements for completion. You will need to pay attention to what has changed, and expect this to keep happening. Bungie will continue to up the ante as time goes on.
But first, let’s talk about why you’re doing this. Season of the Chosen remixed a lot of things. The Tribute Chests in the new four-part Battlegrounds are a new loot system, and the primary means for getting Umbral Engrams. Aside from the loot, there are tons of new bosses to fight as well. And you can only get to fight them if you put the work in.

All Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Week 2 Challenges
Contender’s Ascent II
Report to the War Table in the HELM and complete the Challenger’s Proving II quest. Complete the Battleground: Cleansing activity in the Cosmodrome. From there, you can farm 28 Cabal Gold to continue. Once that’s done socket a Challenger Medallion and complete a Battleground.
Rewards: XP, Empress Lore Chapter, Medium War Table Reputation
Golden Reaper
Acquire 200 Cabal Gold by playing strikes, Gambit, Crucible, public events, and more.
Rewards: XP, Medium War Table Reputation
Crash and Converge
Smash ten Tribute Chests and focus five Season of the Chosen Engrams using charges from the Hammer of Proving.
Rewards: XP, Medium War Table Reputation
THe Bigger They Are
Defeat 60 Elite or Boss Cabal.
Rewards: XP
Trials of the Tinker
Unlock 12 Artifact Mods. Just complete 12 artifact challenges and level up your artifact 12 times.
Rewards: XP, Bright Dust
Chosen Cosmonaut
In Cosmodrome, earn ten progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors. Check Bounty descriptions for more details on each Bounty. Some may require you to use certain weapons or do specific actitivies.

Expose to the Elements
Score 200 Points by calibrating elemental weapons in the Cosmodrome.
Rewards: XP, Bright Dust
Drifter’s Chosen
Earn 250 points by banking Motes, defeating Blockers, and defeating Invaders in Gambit.
Rewards: XP, Bright Dust
Entertain Lord Shaxx
Complete 15 matches in the Showdown Crucible playlist.
Rewards: XP, Bright Dust
Dominance Operandi: Cabal
Defeat Cabal combatants in strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants. Head into the The Arms Dealer or Insight Terminus Strikes and defeat five Cabal bosses to complete this quest.
