This week is bound to be a hectic one for Bungie, as starting today the PC beta for Destiny 2 is live. The launch has already seen widespread reports via social media that players are encountering a series of game-breaking bugs. A couple of different, and quirky, error codes are popping up like “Saxaphone” and “Chive”.
If you’re hit with the error, you’ll need to restart Battle.net and then try launching Destiny 2 again, though in our experience you’ll simply encounter the same issue.
Bungie has announced via Twitter that they have deployed a potential fix for “Saxaphone” issues, and are investigating other reports.
And I have no clue why Bungie chooses to use obtuse error codenames, Although it may be kind of entertaining to see what other wacky names Bungie has embedded into the Beta to handle errors.
But, if you have spent the past three years under a rock, and have no idea of what Destiny 2 is, then today Bungie released a trailer for you.
