Destiny 2 Krait God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 Krait God Roll Guide

The new weapon crafting system in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen is a huge addition to the game. Gathering and using resources to make the weapons and gear you want is a huge uplift in the quality of life for the game. Players are busy rushing around, trying to find those new Deepsight weapons and caches, learning what secrets they hold. With new crafting materials like Resonant Alloy to gather, there’s a lot to learn. There’s also a bunch of powerful and strange new weapons, like the Parasite, which were added to give players something to chase.  And with the new expansion comes a mountain of new Nightfall, Playlist and other weapons that can be farmed to further augment your arsenal.

Since the release of Stasis abilities in Destiny 2, there’s been a ton of hype around getting more weapons to use this mode of DPS. Krait, a new weapon in the Witch Queen, does that really well. The rapid-fire frame Stasis auto rifle is a huge addition to the arsenal, particularly of PvE players. The mod pool is pretty strong, and it can become a staple for certain modes. It also comes equipped with the Veist Stinger origin trait, which helps sustain ammo counts, great for any game mode.

How to get Krait in Destiny 2

Krait is one of the new world-drop weapons added as part of the new expansion. That means it can drop from any source that doesn’t have a set loot pool. Rep packages, open-world events and any other mission can be done to get this weapon. And yes, it can be attuned via the DSR mechanic to unlock new mods.

  • Smallbore or Fullbore
  • Appended Mag
  • Subsistence
  • Headstone

There are a few options you can rely on here, as plenty of perks work with this weapon. But if not, you have Overload, Subsistence, and Autoloading Holster as options for that third slot. These mods have their own faults, but can be made very strong with the right support makeup. Subsistence goes great with the origin trait for this weapon for the Krait God Roll in PvE. You basically get an infinite supply of ammo if you use it right. Appended Mag can help support that even further. You then have some great perks to pick from. Headstone gives you a Dragonfly-like explosion effect for Stasis users,

Krait PvP God Roll

  • Smallbore or  Arrowhead Brake
  • Ricochet Rounds
  • Overflow or Steady Hands
  • Moving Target
  • Masterwork: Range or Stability
  • Mod: Icarus

The Krait isn’t super suited to PvP, but you can make it work.  Arrowhead Brake is a great choice to keep shots on target, Smallbore offers similar bonuses as well. Ricochet Rounds is helpful for dealing with enemy packs, making rushing a bit easier. You have some options in the first perk slot, with either Steady Hands or Overflow being viable. Moving Target is your one must-have perk in PvP. Range or Stability in the Masterwork slot can help a lot here as well.
