Destiny 2 Father’s Sins God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 has added a literal ton of new items and mechanics in its latest expansion. Bungie fans are salivating over all of the new exotics that just dropped. The new weapon crafting system in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen is a huge addition to the game. Gathering and using resources to make the weapons and gear you want is a huge uplift in the quality of life for the game And with the massive trove of new items, there’s a lot to figure out with the new content. One thing being added in this new Season is the Wellspring content, and it’s very impressive.

A lot of the focus in this new content is on a new planet. Many of these new weapons are based on the new destination Savathun’s Throne World. The Throne World has a lot to do, and the new Wellspring content is just one element. Players can actually claim tons of new weapons by completing these various activities. One such weapon is the Father’s Sins sniper rifle. Players will want to grab this new 140-round-per-minute sniper if they want to put down the competition. You can get this weapon via a new Wellspring activity that was added this week.

How to unlock Father’s Sins in Destiny 2

Father’s Sins in Destiny 2 is one of many Wellspring drops which were added this week. Wellspring only unlocks once you have cleared the campaign. And also, the weapon drops can change. You need to farm the right boss to get this weapon. You will need to fight and beat Zeerik, Lightflayer to get this sniper. Check the Wellspring activity daily to make sure you see the right option there. The rewards should list Father’s Sins if you’re on a day where it can drop.

As it’s a Throne World weapon, it can also be crafted. The crafted version is the only way to get enhanced perks, which massively increase its utility. Completing three Resonance weapon extractions will give you the pattern to craft it. Completing DSR extraction goals can then unlock the Enhanced Perks.

The Father’s Sins god roll will vary a bit based on what mode you’re playing, and how you play it. With it being a sniper, PvP will be pretty hard without ways to get shots off ASAP. Having ways to get more shots off is key, as long as you can hit your target. PvE is a bit harder to work with, as the limited ammo capacity poses a problem for some target-heavy fights.
