Deep Silver releases new trailer for new RPG Outward
Outward is a new upcoming RPG that’s the result of a collaboration between publisher Deep Silver and developers Nine Dot and Maximum Games. The game blends various elements that RPG fans will know and love, as well as some new genre mixups that will shake things up in interesting new ways. To promote the game, as well as announce the confirmed release date, Outward has a new gameplay trailer.
Outward is an RPG which builds a dark and menacing world into a very threatening environment, one in which the player will have to fight hard to survive. The game also features both a ritual-based spellcasting system and a randomized system for each playthrough so that each one is unique. The game world features a ton of both magical and mundane enemies, as well as a whole mess of nefarious traps which can easily destroy your heroes.
The gameplay itself blends open-world survival mechanics with typical RPG trappings, making for a really challenging experience where the smallest mistakes can quickly compound to destroy you. To survive, you will have to train and master the game’s complex weapons, traps, and magic, using them to take down the various enemies which block your progress. basically, this game is looking to be a much more realistic and difficult take on your typical open-world RPG fair, we’ll just have to wait and see how those efforts pay off.
Players will also be able to take on this dangerous world as either a solo adventure, or in a co-op setting, either locally or online.
