Dead by Daylight Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch Has Surpassed 32 Million Units Sold

As part of the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, it’s been announced that yet another popular title is getting a Switch adaptation. This time it’s the multiplayer horror title from Behaviour Interactive, Dead by Daylight. So now you’ll be able to run from your friends playing horrifying monsters and mutants on the go. Great, I always wanted to be scared witless while riding on the bus.

According to the announcement, Dead by Daylight for the Nintendo Switch will drop on the platform this fall, and it will include all of the content from the base game. That means all of the Killers, Survivors, Maps, Chapters, and Cosmetics will be in the game. Players can also expect to see a bunch of the post-launch content for the game too.

Dead by Daylight has received a huge variety of DLC packs since it launched in 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One, each one adding new content like Killers and Maps. The most recent of these additions was “Darkness Among Us”, wherein players are placed in the role of the psychotic Legion Killer and hunt down survivors. The pack also added a new map called the Mount Ormond Resort.

And there is a bit of bad news, just like many other console-based games, you’ll need to pay a separate fee to access online multiplayer. So you’ll need a Switch Online sub in order to play this game.

Dead by Daylight will land on the Switch this Fall, it’s currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can check out the Switch trailer for the game down below.
