Darksiders III is Out Today, Check Out the Launch Trailer
Darksiders III, the latest game in a long-running action game franchise, is out now. THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have finally released the long-awaited game, and the hardcore fans waiting for a new over-the-top action game are pretty happy. The story follows one vengeful warrior by the name of Fury, as she does battle with legions of enemies in some furious open-world action.
If you’re a die-hard fan of the franchise, there’s plenty to love in Darksiders III. And once you’re done with the main story, hold on tight because THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games plan to release two DLC packs which add more content.
Combat and exploration deliver good, old-school fun and the levels are brimming with secrets. Players will have plenty to uncover in this game, and it definitely feels like a quality effort and return to form for the series and the genre as a whole. And while it’s not a God of War style narrative, the story elements and characters are fun and engaging in a weird sort of way. For those wondering, this is technically a prequel to the first game, as it takes place before the events of the original Darksiders.
Here’s an official description of the game from the developers if you want to take a look and see what this game is all about:
Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must succeed where many have failed – to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth. Darksiders III is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise
Darksiders III is out now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it’s bringing plenty of gory and high-octane action as you follow Fury on her quest. Check out the release trailer for this new game down below.
