The Dark Souls Trilogy has already landed, and made a bit splash in North America and Asia, and now gamers in the PAL parts of the globe are getting the same treatment. But a couple thousand lucky gamers and fans of the Dark Souls series may well get a super treat. This comes in the form of a major Collector’s Edition version of the bundle.
But don’t get too excited just yet, because it’s an extremely limited quantity production run, and will retail for an incredibly high price. The special version of the trilogy bundle will run £449.99 and comes out two months after the standard version of the trilogy. There will only be 2,000 units produced of the special version, so you better snap one up quick if this seems like a thing you might want.
All that premium price gets a fair bit of value, especially for the superfan in your life. In terms of the actual games, the trilogy itself comes with Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2 and its three DLCs, and Dark Souls 3 plus both of its DLCs.
Available exclusively on Bamco’s European store, the Collector’s Edition includes Dark Souls 1-3 as you’d expect, all of the DLC release to date, but the real highlight is the 34cm, hand-painted Elite Knight at the Bonfire statue. You also get six soundtrack CDs loaded with the music from the games, so that’s cool, and a 460-page Dark Souls Compendium.
The Dark Souls Trilogy is due for release on March 1 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Once again, the Collector’s Edition version will drop two months later, in May 2019.
