Cyberpunk 2077 PC System Requirements

Cyberpunk 2077: System Requirements, Recommended Specs And PC Setup confirmed

Is your PC ready for Night City? The new massive RPG from CD PROJEKT RED is coming soon to a PC near you, and you better be ready to fire this game up. If you’ve been thinking about building that new PC for this game, it’s helpful to know what kind of specs to aim for. Thankfully, the developers have just dropped those details for us.

The game will surprisingly run on very modest hardware. No need to spring for that 10-series Intel CPU or fastest possible Ryzen if you’re just looking to play the game at 1080p. As long as your hardware has some decent punch for other modern titles, you should be fine. Just to make sure though, why not check out the Cyberpunk 2077 PC system requirements below.

Listed for both minimum and recommended specs, you can pretty much handle this game on any modern build. Assuming that you’re willing to make some sacrifices in resolution and details though.

It looks like this game will be much easier to run than many were expecting. It kind of makes sense though, given that CD PROJEKT were aiming to make this their next big AAA title with a wide reach. They would obviously make it so any PC gamer from the last few years could at least run the thing. Although some users are kind of suspicious of what optimization has been done to the game. What kind of frame times should we expect for those minimum specs? We will have to wait until launch to find out for sure.

The average user on Steam, based on the Steam Hardware survey actually lands nicely in-line with minimum specs for the game. The older builds still running older AMD or Intel CPUs will have some trouble though. It really is time to upgrade that FX-era CPU if you’re running one still in 2020.
