Night City Wire Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X comparison

The newest batch of gameplay footage for Cyberpunk 2077 has landed. Players and fans are getting a look at life in Night City in even more new ways this week. Being a massive dystopian world, you get all the trappings one would expect. The protagonist has to live their life among the glam and the muck of a city on the outs. That doesn’t mean creature comforts and basic necessities aren’t there though. As the new footage shows, we even get to see the player

The focus of this update is the Xbox ports of the new RPG. Players on the Xbox Series X and Xbox One X—which is where this footage was captured—get to see a fair bit of detail of life in Night City, including how rough things can get. We see the main character brawl their way through a bar fight, and even hints of some of the wider story. The Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay video, which you can watch below, switches back and forth between Xbox Series X and Xbox One X versions, showing off visual contrasts.

That story would be nothing without the tiny details that make the world feel more alive. Players will see more and more of the world if they pay attention, even with little things like staring at a club dancer through a window. The setup evokes a mix of resentment and hopelessness, two themes that seem very fitting for the setting. Combine all of those little things with the impressive visuals, and you have a massively impressive game world/. Expect more of this when the next full episode of Night City Wire drops on the 19th.
