Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out, bringing with the same heights of absurdity that fans expect of the franchise. And if it wasn’t enough to set the game at the peak of the Cold War, there’s plenty of other nonsense to deal with. But if you’re more of a lone wolf player, you might not want to have to party up with four players all the time. There is a solo mode, you just have to know how to find it. To change Cold War Zombies to solo mode, you first need to be inside of an active Zombies lobby. Here’s how to do it. It’s actually pretty simple, you just need to change the game mode.
Can you play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode solo?
- Navigate to the main menu of your Zombies lobby.
- Select Die Maschine Endless
- Scroll to the right by clicking on ‘Private’ or pressing R1
- Scroll down to ‘Die Maschine Solo’ and choose that
You will have access to all the same features as the normal team variant, things will just be tougher. Having to manage the various mechanics on your own can be daunting, so be prepared for a challenge. And if you just wanted to play the game with a smaller team, that is an option.
