In COD: Warzone, there are a lot of powerful weapons to choose from. There will also always be a few that are favored by the metagame adherents in the community. A few brave players will opt for something super powerful until it’s nerfed, like exactly what happened with the Grau 5.56 previously. The Grau 5.56 has now been severely nerfed by the developers, leaving players hunting new weapons and loadouts. The M13 in Call of Duty: Warzone may well be that choice.
We dug through some feedback from the community and our own experience with the game to compile recommendations for the best loadout for the M13 in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Why the M13?
The M13 isn’t the most OP weapon in the game by a longshot, but it does have a few great traits. A solid range of damage with minimal recoil makes it a very strong contender for many shootouts. The amount of fire it can put is respectable, even at shorter ranges. And the M13 in Call of Duty: Warzone has some surprisingly solid range as well.
Having a good close-range backup is a consideration. While it doesn’t compare to many SMGs or Shotguns in the game like the Fennec, the M13 is a great choice for having medium-to-long-range firefights.
Suggested Best All-Round M13 Loadout
- Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel – Tempus Marksman
- Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape
- Ammunition – 60 Round Mag
- Underbarrel – Merc or Ranger Foregrip
- Laser – No Changes
- Perk – No Perk
- Stock – No Changes
- Optic – Operator Reflex Sight (if no Stippled Grip Tape)
This build is all about one thing, accuracy. This setup with the already very stable COD: Warzone M13 can be a laser-accurate weapons platform. Monolithic suppressor and Tempus Marksman are two general-purpose attachments that empower any build with better range, less recoil and a stable base for other attachments.
The ammo you’re going to chew through makes 60 Round Mag a must-have. The M13 is a slow-firing weapon, so you need more rounds to be able to put more fire downrange. The Foregrip choices can help reduce the recoil and keep your ADS on target. That’s the goal here, to create a solid medium-range weapon for most general engagements.
The Stippled Grip Tape to help offset the penalty to your ADS speed that other addons generate, so it’s also a must-have here. If you’re decided to live with the slower ADS and want more range, go for a reflex sight like the Operator variant. Canted Hybrid sights are another option if you’re looking for a general setup in most firefights.
Combining this with a bunch of throwables like Flash and Frag Grenades can be great for suppressing enemy squads. Use the lull created by a nade throw to flank and put some bullets in some bodies.
