Co-op shooter Earthfall gets release date

Earthfall co-op FPS announced

Earthfall, the sci-fi co-op shooter from Holospark, has been given a July 13 release date.

Earthfall lets you take control of one of four distinct characters fighting against an alien invasion. You’ll have to make use of creative weapon types as well as barricades and other environmental abilities in order to survive. And if you don’t have three friends to play with, the game includes AI bots to support the player as well.

The launch version will also include an expanded campaign and general polish and performance improvements. Currently, There are a total of ten missions spread across two campaigns with a lot of mission variety. The game definitely has a Left4Dead feel, and I like that quite a bit. As players blast their way across the Pacific Northwest of the USA, they’ll encounter hordes of aliens with unique challenges abilities.

The standard edition, available via digital distribution, has a more modest price, at $29.99 / £29.99. The same price will be applied to the Steam version at launch, an increase from just $15. Check out the trailer below.
