Classic quirky adventure, Grim Fandango, now available on Switch

Grim Fandango coming to Switch and PS4

From the mind of Tim Schafer sprang what would eventually become a timeless classic of video games. That nugget of undead genius is known the world over as Grim Fandango, and dead is back baby! To coincide with the 20th anniversary of it’s original release, Double Fine has announced that multiple new versions of the game will be available for fans to fawn over.

There’s a Switch release for example, which features all the bells and whistles. The graphics and sound have been massively improved, the controls have been streamlined, and everything about it is just better. It also includes an art gallery and a whole list of other bonus content.

For those wondering, the Switch version of the game is the same as the 2015 remaster which was released over the years on a variety of platforms, such as PC, PS4, Android, Mac and more. It’s one of the classic games that can’t really be ignored and now Switch owners can take it on the go.

But that’s not all the good news. Fans will soon be able to purchase a version of the games soundtrack on Vinyl. There will also be a live exhibition of art related to Grim Fandango for fans to enjoy. An art show for Grim Fandango will be on display during November 11th’s Day of the Devs event at The Midway in San Francisco. It will continue to run from November 14 to December 31 at PWNshop in Los Angeles, with all ages welcome and free admission.
