Codemasters have released a new promo trailer for their upcoming racing game, Onrush. Check out the trailer below:
The racing title will release first on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC port to follow later.
Online multiplayer will be possible in a 6v6 mode that will also include AI bots called “Fodder”. These fodder have one job, creating endless amounts of chaos for the player to enjoy. A singleplayer campaign is also included with nearly 100 individual events to compete in and test your skills against the AI.
Don’t get excited if you’re expecting VR support though, the developers had this to say about VR and Onrush:
“Onrush is all about speed, verticality and over-the-top takedowns. All of which just wouldn’t work in VR, unfortunately – unless you like feeling sick! However, if you REALLY want to experience Onrush in VR, we suggest you sit inside your washing machine during a cycle!”
The game will feature eight vehicle classes, these are the Blade, Outlaw, Vortex, Charger, Interceptor, Dynamo, Titan and Enforcer. Each vehicle has different abilities and handles in a unique way. There’s a lot of MOBA-type influences here in that Onrush is all about balancing team play in order to achieve victory.
Onrush is launching across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 5th.
