If you’re an Xbox gamer, one of the things you’ve long had to deal with was shelling out $50 a year for online multiplayer content through the Xbox Live Gold service. Sure, Microsoft offers a bunch of bonuses like Games With Gold, to entice buyers, but gamers love a deal that saves them a few bucks on something they were going to buy anyway.
There are currently two deals on for Xbox Live Gold from two different retailers. One is a “Flash” sale from Newegg which offers a discount on three months of Xbox Live Gold, in addition to a free 3 month code. The other deal is through retail giant Walmart, which offers gamers a 3 month code as a bonus for purchasing another one at full price. So in effect, you’re getting 6 months for the price of 3.
The Newegg deal is actually discounting the price of a 3 month Xbox Live Gold subscription from $24.99 to $20.99, which breaks down in such a way that if gamers buy two of these gift bundles, they can grab a full year of Xbox Live for just $42.
If you need another reason to jump on board, check out some of the free games Microsoft is offering gamers if they jump into XBL Gold. In March 2019 alone, gamers get free copies of Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance from Platinum Games, and even an original Xbox game in the form of Star Wars: Republic Commando. All directly to their Xbox One consoles. Each month the company changes the offerings, so get in quick.
Xbox Live Gold is Microsoft’s online component for the Xbox family of consoles.
