The Carnival Mystery Box is back, well kind of. Developer Grinding Gear Games has brought the full range of these microtransactions out of the RNG-based Mystery Box and into the store proper. Players can new peruse the full catalog of festive and terrifying items, and spend their precious points on the stuff they want.
The Carnival Mystery Box was released back in September, during the patch cycle for Path of Exile 3.8. This chaotic mess of MTX was all about scary clowns, and these are not the fun happy clowns by any stretch of the imagination. With two full spooky armor sets, GGG went all out on the terrifying festival of madness feel, and it quite works.

GGG also announced another new limited-time addition as well. The Gore Fireworks, which are exactly what they sound like, are back in stock. These limited-time items are good for a bit of crazy celebration, and great for firing off in town. The Gore Fireworks come in stacks of 10 and cost 15 points per stack.
