Can you play Diablo Immortal solo?

Can you play Diablo Immortal on PC?

Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal is here, bringing the killing of demons to mobile for the first time. The game has a ton of acts to chew through, and a brand new story to tell. As you fight off the denizens of Hell, you will encounter friends both new and old, and get to build the ultimate hero of your dreams. There’s a lot of build diversity here, and plenty of fun to be had, but Blizzard will constantly be adding new content.

And with that content comes plenty of challenging battles against said demons. And since there are so many of them, you’re going to need some help. Players are encouraged by the game’s systems to group up and slay their foes together. This mobile title is designed around online play, so many boss fights and other tough battles are meant to be attacked as a group. Even though it’s not designed that way, some folks will always prefer to play Diablo Immortal solo.

Can you play Diablo Immortal solo?

Obviously, you can get through most of the content in these RPGs solo. Sure, the more challenging Elder Rifts are meant for a group of powerful heroes, especially at higher difficulty levels. And the always-online nature of the game means that other players will always be about the map. You can group with them at any time, and you’re encouraged to. If you’re wondering if you can play Diablo Immortal without other players in the game the answer is that you can’t, you’re supposed to group with them. But if you wish, you can run maps and dungeons solo as much as you like.

The game can be played completely solo if you want to take that approach. You will still see other players running around, but you don’t have to interact with them if you don’t want to. It’s very easy to just not group up with these other folks, provided your build is good enough to solo the content in the game.

There’s a very good reason why you don’t want to always play Diablo Immortal solo, and that’s loot. When grouped with other players, you get scaling rewards based on the difficulty being played on. The enemies also get higher Combat Rating, so they will be meant to be taken on as a group. Taking down these stronger beasts will grant you bonus loot, XP and other rewards. So it’s in your best interests to do so.

So what if you want to group up and don’t have friends online? To solve this problem, Blizzard has enabled the ability to queue up randomly with strangers. That’s easy for those who don’t have friends playing the game.

There are a few other things to learn about this hit new RPG, so listen up. The Paragon leveling system is a bit different this time around, but mostly familiar. There’s also a more restrictive leveling system at play here, so keep that in mind. And if you find yourself not being challenged, trying a new difficulty in Diablo immortal might help. There’s also a battle pass to take on, if you want more consistent tasks to complete over your time with the game.
