Can you get more health potion charges in Minecraft Dungeons?

Having only a single health potion in Minecraft Dungeons might seem like a big problem, it really isn’t. Can you get more health potions? No, but you can extend the life by understanding and exploiting the way the game handles health potion charges. The health potion works on a cooldown, so you will have to wait out that cooldown. Charges return to the vial on a set interval, so you just have to wait. If you’re low on health, retreat away from the mobs and wait out the cooldown. This should allow the charges to come back a bit, giving you more health.

There are a couple of different ways to get around this. For one thing, you need to understand that the system works on the concept of health potion charges. As you use the health pot, you lose charges and gain health. Charges recharge after a short delay, preventing spamming the potions too much. There are a few ways to extend the life of a pot though.

Every time you level up, you gain a small amount of extra healing boost to the healing potion, and that helps a little with staying alive. The biggest help with the recharge time aside from just waiting is enchantments. There are no artifacts or skills that give you an additional healing portion though. There are a handful of life-leeching enchantments that can help you heal as you battle through hordes of mobs.

There are also a couple of really useful artifacts that help as well. The Soul Healer and Totem of Regeneration are two artifacts to utilize in Minecraft Dungeons that help with healing in the game. Players can plop down the Totem of Regeneration to generate a healing aura in a set zone. The Soul Healer collects the spirits of killed mobs and you can activate the artifact to give you an emergency burst of life. The Soul Healer will need to recharge before it can be used again though.
