The newest patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has dropped, and bringing with it a massive 12GB update that includes a stylish and sunny new in-game event. The 1.18 update for The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 includes a huge series of updates to the iconic Blackout mode, bringing more new items and weapons along with a ton of other content and new modes.
A lot of the new additions are undoubtedly Summer-themed, with things like BBQs, water balloons, giant floaties and a whole bunch of other fun stuff. New vehicles like an Attack Helicopter are coming to Blackout on PS4, offering some major new firepower to console players.
Aside from the updates to Blackout, a few new items added to Zombies. Some new mechanics like Shopping Spree which allows players to upgrade all their skills for free for a short time, then there’s Perkaholic which grants players access to all perks on the map. Four new Epic Elixirs, new weapons, Gauntlet Leaderboards, new Mastercraft and MKII Weapon support, gameplay improvements, and more are also coming to Zombies.
Other aspects of the patch introduce a new map, like the one themed after Venice Beach which takes the shooter battle to literal skate ramps. Players will also get to take part in Capture the Flag again, as well as Grind from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
The final major addition is a new set of challenges, which PS4 owners get first try at, as well as a bunch of balance passes for existing weapons.
