Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse coming to Switch

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse releases a version for the Nintendo Switch in September.

It’s the enhanced edition of the game and includes behind the scenes movies created especially for the Switch version. The game will reward you with more behind-the-scenes footage and other goodies as you play.

This version also has a redesigned UI that fits much better with the control scheme for the console. Players will be able to seamlessly switch between Joy Con or touchscreen controls in this edition. And as one would expect from any adventure game, there’s a complex story peppered with brain-bending puzzles meant to test your ability to think on your feet.

Here’s an official blurb to describe the game.

Paris in the spring. Shots ring out from a gallery. A robbery – a murder – and the beginning of another epic original Broken Sword adventure. An adventure that will hurl intrepid lawyer George Stobbart and sassy journalist Nico Collard onto the trail of a murderous conspiracy whose roots lie in mysteries older than the written word. Armed only with logic, integrity and a wry sense of humour – can George and Nico outwit evil forces both ancient and modern and save mankind from disaster?

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse releases worldwide September 21 on Switch. It will run you $29.99/£24.99/€29.99. It’s already available on PC, PS4, Vita, and Xbox One. Check out the trailer for the Switch release down below.
