If you’re just now coming back to The Walking Dead: Road to Survival after a long break, you might notice a few things. For one, this game’s meta-game is a bit of a mess right now, but that’s far beyond the point of this game guide. Anyway, the other thing you might notice is that the game looks a lot more festive.
And with these changes comes a new event. Every so often, Scopely runs special events like this, and they offer huge rewards. The Flashlights can be spent on the Hidden Flail Roadmap, and the Jingle Bells are spent on the Christmas one. There’s a very good reason you want to run these. That is the shop pulls. Each of these events offers a unique currency as a possible drop. You can then spend these to get tons of Mythics, Trainers and other great items.
How to use Jingle Bells in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival
The Jingle Bells and other event items, like Flashlights from the Halloween event, are used as energy in Roadmaps. Check the Christmas Roadmaps each day and run them when you have the Bells to. There are three Acts to complete in the initial Roadmap, They are pretty tough for new players, starting at around 1,300 Difficulty. The latter two acts ramp up a lot.
The thing to do most often is to keep checking every 2-3 days to see what the Christmas Roadmaps are up, and try farm the ones for the Christmas Stash Tokens.
You can make it a bit easier by selecting Faction Supporters for tougher missions. if you’re in a good faction be sure to save the highest-level supports for the tougher missions. No use burning that level 900 supporter on a mission you can beat on your own. Also, be sure to set your own Faction Supporter to the Traits that are active in Roadmaps. So if an Alert Trait Roadmap event runs, set your best Alert character.
And yes, these can be farmed for many different drops. You can of course spend Salvage Tokens to speed through the farming.
How to get more Jingle Bells
During this event, make sure to grab those daily login calenders to get more Jingle Bells in The Walking Dead: Road to Survival. Every day, you get 25 of them at a minimum. The two different days are on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which give you more Bells and some Gold Mythic characters.
You’ll also notice that your camp is now much more festive. It’s a nice little tweak that makes the game feel a bit more fresh. Anyway, that’s the gist of these new event items, and some tips on how to use them.
