Best Mining Spot on Plains of Eidolon – Warframe Guide

Best Mining Spot on Plains of Eidolon (2020)

When running on the Plains of Eidolon, there will always be need to do mining for resources. Whether you’re grinding standing for Cetus or gathering crafting materials, you will need hundreds of these nodes throughout your time within Warframe. So while you’re hopping around fishing for that easy standing, head to this cave and wrap up all of the mining you need to do in a single place.

The best mining spot on Plains of Eidolon is actually one of the most populated caves in the game for mining, and it’s very accessible even for new players. The cave you’re looking for is actually pretty close to the Cetus spawn point. All you have to do is head out to the left of the Cetus gate.

Head into the Twin Horns area marked on your map. There are two caves here. One smaller cave is right up against the border of the Plains map, and it is not the one you’re looking for. The one further away from the energy border and next to the big lake is the best mining spot on Plains of Eidolon. The cave starts as a series of metal walkways that leads into a deeper cave network. Break out your cutter as soon as you get in to start finding the mining nodes. As you descend deeper using the walkways, you will eventually reach the end of these walkways and the upper cave systems.

The majority of the mining nodes in this area are actually on the bottom level. Drop down into the area that has ankle-deep water to get the majority of the mining spots down in the water. In all, there are at least a couple dozen different nodes between both the red and blue varieties in this mining spot on Plains of Eidolon.

This cave is a little more dangerous than the smaller caves on the Plains of Eidolon. The biggest threat is the Akkalaka turrets spread out across the catwalks on the upper levels. The turrets can be taken out with Volt’s Shock ability in one shot, and pretty much any high-powered rifle can take them down as well. Just keep mobile and pay attention though, and you will be fine.

And if you happen to get done with your run and exit the cave during nighttime, be very careful. The massive Eidolon Teralyst may be nearby, and solo players don’t stand a chance against this massive beast. Just head straight for Cetus to bank your mining haul.
