Bayek is now recruitable in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Bayek Joins Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Bayek, the main protagonist from Assassin’s Creed Origins is now part of the roster in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Bayek is in the game as part of the Ubisoft Club app together with the previously released character, Evie Fry, from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Sadly, you can’t player as these new characters as their NPC crew members in-game, but they do provide passive buffs as one of many Lieutenants. Bayek is one of the stronger options for combat, but isn’t the best, so that means he’s more of a piece in a well-rounded crew than the lynch-pin of an entire operation.

He’s very easy to get too, just trade 40 Units in the Ubisoft Club to gain access to this new addition.

Ubisoft also revealed that an Epic Ship known as the Black Wind is now available to battle as part of its first live event. You may recall that last week’s event was cancelled due to technical issues. All in all, it’s pretty cool to see some crossover with older games in the franchise happening in Odyssey, I hope to see more of this going forward.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out now for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
