Electronic Arts has just rolled out a new teaser for Battlefield V ahead of Gamescom 2018. The trailer is all in-game footage, showing all different types of modes and other goodies coming in the FPS. IT’s pretty standard Battlefield flare as shootouts breakout and tanks roll into combat. It all looks pretty fun.
The trailer also showcases various multiplayer map locales set in Europe, and North Africa.
The big draw with this little snippet of gameplay is that it’s the first major reveal of the battle royal mode for the game that augments the typical multiplayer offerings. There isn’t much in the trailer go on with this new mode, but we can expect more info at Gamescom this year. We do know that a Battlefield V beta should be coming next month, so we could see more about that as well. Although the potential for powerful armored vehicles in such a mode, as the trailer suggests, will make combat in the new mode much more vicious and challenging.
