Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases new TV spot ahead of launch

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Gameplay TV Spot

Ubisoft has released even more gamemplay footage for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the form of a new TV promotional trailer. Check it out in all its awesomeness.

As descendants of ancient Greek icon of myth Leonidas, Alexios and Kassandra have a pretty substantial role to live up to. As they charge into massive battles, sail across the open sea, and shape the lives of the people around them, they have a choice. Do they become a savior or a tyrant? Do they honor the past or forsake tradition in favor of power? These and many more questions will be answered when Assassin’s Creed Odyssey finally comes out.

The game is all about player choice, as another recent trailer for the game highlights, and the player will shape the destinies of both Alexios and Kassandra through those choices. As an action-RPG, there’s also plenty of exploration to undertake in this game. As you journey through the islands of Greece and beyond, you’ll uncover secrets, some of which you might not want to know. It all seems really promising both as an Assassin’s Creed game and as an open-world RPG.

If you want to see more of the game, I suggest checking out the combat trailer. Or perhaps you want a peek behind-the-scenes in another trailer. And if you’re trying to get your sea legs, have a gander at some naval combat. There’s also a really extensive gameplay segment from PAX West earlier this month that showcases the game in a lot more detail.

That new commercial is down below if you want to check it out. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 5, 2018. You can learn more about the game in general by heading over to the official site.
