Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Torment of Hades gameplay details revealed

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The next phase of DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming. Are you prepared to take on the deadly Cerberus? As a tease for this new challenge, Ubisoft has even released a new trailer showcasing both the first encounter with this dangerous foe, as well as other aspects of the upcoming DLC.

Not only does this DLC contain a challenging new boss battle, you’ll also be taken deep into the bowel of Underworld itself. Check it out for yourself below. OF course Cerberus is just the start of this epic journey.

The content is available now for Season Pass holders, and you can unlock the mission in-game if you’re at least level 28 and have completed the Between Two worlds story quest, and beat The Fields of Elysium.

After the player defeats Hades’ pet, you’ll eventually come face-to-face with the big bad himself, and he’s got a job for you. Hades will send the player on increasingly dangerous tasks to eliminate his competition and to strengthen his position among the immortals. To do this, he’ll also have you recruit the fabled Greek heroes Perseus, Achilles, Agamemnon, and Herakles. Of course you have to prove yourself, and by extension Hades, worthy by kicking their teeth in first. Before you complete these arduous tasks though, you must first escape the otherworldly realms, which is a mission unto itself.

The DLC will reward the player with both new abilities and gear, offering improved combat abilities and a new higher tier armor set, the Armor of the Fallen. Players who complete this DLC will earn new abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey like Keeper’s Insights and Artemis’ Trickery, where these new upgrades grant Kassandra/Alexios a new set of powerful attacks and skills that can be used to overcome the more difficult tasks of the new missions.
