The first major piece of DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming soon, in less than a month in fact, and Ubisoft just released a new trailer for the DLC which teases new characters, story elements, and other new content. The new DLC is titled Legacy of the First Blade, and it will be split into three episodes, with the first episode coming out in December. Each episode breaks down a particular piece of the overarching story that surrounds one legendary assassin particular.
The story follows Darius I, son of Xerxes I, the first wielder of the iconic wrist blades that fans of the franchise know quite well. Darius appears on the scene as the same time as a massive Persian invasion force besieges the area. The resulting massive conflict and political quagmire is a perfect backdrop for a group of deadly Assassins to take advantage of.
The first episode, Hunted is due December 4, with Episode 2: Shadow Heritage and Episode 3: Bloodline followed afterwords. These other two episodes will likely come in mid January and late February/early March, respectively. And these are just the first batch of expansion content for the game and it’s post-launch plan. The Fate of Atlantis will follow sometime in 2019. And if you have the Season Pass, you’ll get both of these expansions and more as part of that deal.
Legacy of the First Blade, will come out on December 4, 2018 for all platforms, so that means PC, Xbox One and PS4 gamers will be getting a crack at this new piece of content. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out now for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch.
