Assassin’s Creed Odyssey confirmed after leak

Assassins Creed Osyssey Confirmed

Assassin’s Creed fans have gotten a bit of early good news today after a series of leaks appeared to confirm the next game in the franchise. According to multiple sources Greece will be the setting of the next game. This was based, at least before the leak and confirmation, on a bit of speculation and some pictures taken in Greece by the series’ Art Director.

The most recent entry in the franchise was Assassin’s Creed Origins, released last year, which dialed the events of the game all the way back to Egypt during the Ptolemaic period (49–47 BC). Odyssey could become a counterpart to the title as the Ancient Egyptions and Ancient Greeks interacted throughout the tumultuous centuries which they existed.

The newest leak cam in the form of some pictures of themed merchandise for the game that were posted online.

Ubisoft has since confirmed it as the next game in a Tweet which also says “See you at E3”. Watch this very quick clip of a bloke being kicked off a cliff.

We’re set to hear more about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at E3 2018, so see you then.
