Ash from Evil Dead is coming to Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 Evil Dead DLC Teased

So today has been a pretty busy day for NetherRealm Studios. With the previous announcement that their major fighting game, Mortal Kombat 11, was getting a big batch of new fighter as DLC, gamers are now completely obsessed with figuring out what characters are coming to join the fight.

So far NetherRealm has confirmed the following new additions: Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn are all confirmed.

Legendary actor Bruce Campbell, who of course played Ash in the Evil Dead films, took to Twitter to tease fans. The teasing Tweet is very much peak Bruce Campbell, and fans ate it up. And as a follow-up statement from the actor confirmed that Ash is headed to MK 11, fans collectively lost their minds. I mean you would too if you got the chance to wreck folks with the groovy chainsaw wielder.

The confirmation of one more DLC fighter for the game still leaves one more that has yet to be confirmed. There’s plenty of speculation flying around that fans have latched on to. The prevailing theory is based on a potential leak, and it’s one that has DC Comics fans hyped. A previous leak for the DLC roster for this game suggested that Joker would be coming to do battle. This is of course based on the new Joker film which is in the works, but the DLC roster has yet to be confirmed.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. You can pick up the Kombat Pack for $39.99 USD. This pack will also be joined by the Klassic Ninja skin pack this June. Said skin pack decks out Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Noob Saibot in their Mortal Kombat IIattire.
