Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension Detailed

Apex Legends

Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension is coming soon. The game is going hard into the next few months, with plans for tons of new content. There is a bunch of new content, like a new vehicle called the Trident. Players will also get to explore a bunch of new regions via a new map. Let’s talk about what Respawn has planned for Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension.  Season 7: Ascension goes live on November 4.

A new map and more

Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension is called that for obvious reasons, we’re ascending to new heights. We’re getting the first new map since Season 3. It will start off in the Trios and Duos playlists, and then it will move over into the Ranked modes. Olympus will be available in ranked until December 15, before defaulting to the World’s Edge map for the rest of the season. As a trade off, King’s Canyon will not show up in Ranked Season 7, this will instead be moved over to Trios and Duos in a trade for the new map.

Aside from the map, we’re also getting a new vehicle.

What is the Trident in Apex Legends?

the Trident is a new player-controlled dropship that prowls around the big new map. Trident is the first-ever player-controlled vehicle in the game, offering some new nonsense to get up to. This will allow players to move around the map quickly solo, as it’s a single-seat vehicle. If you need a quick escape from a circle or gang of players, this is your new option. It’s not heavily armed or armored from what we can tell, so it’s more for mobility than anything.

And yes the battle pass will be back this season as well. Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension is looking to build up some new content and push the game into new territories. The game will also be coming to Steam, helping to inject some new blood.

What are clubs in Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension?

What are Clubs in Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension?

The basic premise is a new way for players to group together. Clubs are new content for Season 7: Ascension that will allow you to find and connect with players in-game as you game with them. It’s more than a friends list though, it’s more like a guild system for the shooter. As the game will be built around encouraging players to game together more and more together. PC and console players will be bundled together and be able to get into matches faster. This should be pretty good for queue times when you’re hunting games.

Each club has its own ID that is separate from the name itself, so names of clubs will not have to be unique, unlike player names. There seems to be a hope among fans that club challenges will be a thing, but we will have to wait to see if that happens.

The idea seems sound, and it should help keep players coming back. The games like these should live or die on the strength of their community, and players need to have a reason to keep logging in. And even though the new map this season will help, being able to keep players together should help just as much.
