Anthem update 1.2.0 releases later today

Anthem

Electronic Arts and Bioware have revealed that the next patch for the struggling Anthem is coming out later today with version 1.2 and a bunch of tweaks and bug fixes. There’s even a new Emote system to allow players to share info via basic in-game actions. Dancing in your Javelin though, not so much.

A bunch of Strongholds and quests have been reworked to some degree. Missions and Legendary Missions have both been tweaked, and speaking of Legendaries, three Emerald Abyss Legendary Missions have been added to Anthem. Freeplay also got some minor adjustments with loading improvements and fast travel being made easier, among other things.

Gear changes came to Storm, Ranger, Colossus and Interceptor as well with this update. Many of the base damage values have gotten a buff across multiple abilities within these gear elements.

And of course, a bunch of bugs, placements issues for NPCs and UI problems across every major gameplay area have been dealt with.

You can find the full patch notes for the new update down below. And of course, Anthem is out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One. And despite all of the backlash and problems the game has had since launch, EA and Bioware are still working on it, as this patch shows. Although only time will tell if they manage to fix the underlying problems with loot and the availability of content.
