Anthem PC System Requirements Released

Anthem

EA and BioWare have revealed the system requirements for Anthem on PC. The specs needed to run this beast of a game are actually lot less insane than some were expecting, so that’s nice. One downside is the requirement for 64-bit Windows 10 will lock out some gamers. Although most gamers who were banking on getting this game were already set there most likely given the market share of that particular OS.

Anthem system requirements:

Minimum

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
  • Memory: 8 GB system memory
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 760, AMD Radeon 7970 / R9280X
  • Hard Drive: 50 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11

Recommended

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB system memory
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 / RTX 2060, AMD RX 480
  • GPU RAM: 4 GB video memory
  • Hard Drive: 50 GB of free space
  • DirectX: DirectX 11

In other news, there’s some new tidbits about the upcoming demo for the game. EA plans to offer early access to the demo to anyone who pre-orders the game. Those who take them up on that get to play first on January 25, 2019. EA Access subscription holders will also get the demo early. The demo will open to everyone on February 1, 2019. And anyone who picks up the “VIP” portion of the demo will get a free in-game item.
